So...it's been a long time since I posted anything on this account. And I apologize. That is, in no small part, on me. I initially came to DA drawn in by the community of all the talented artists and writers producing content relating to the female fighting fandom, in particular that centered around professional wrestling. I quickly found that there were a lot of people out there with memorable and creative characters, and that many of them were willing to write out matches and roleplay with others. As someone with a long-time interest in the subject, I wanted to join in on the fun myself, and I created a few character profiles with the intention of creating a shared universe around my OCs, surrounding the promotion of World of Women's Wrestling (WOWW), an all-female wrestling league I created to give them a common continuity and canon. So, as you can probably tell, WOWW has kind of been a bust. After signing onto LAW, I found that I had all the people I needed to explore my characters with, and more importantly, I found a wonderful community that I've made a lot of friends in and had great fun. When you have a whole community (and a great one at that) devoted to roleplaying matches, you find that it isn't as pressing to write your own. And I'll admit, I've been a bit slack in talking with people on DA. That one's on me... ...But if there's one thing I do like, it's developing my characters, and things like this are just my style. To those watching my page, I know I haven't updated in a while. Worry not, I've just been busy with school lately, but I've found that the absence has led to newfound enthusiasm. I've come up with a bunch of new characters I'll be posting over the next few days, and I've got some even bigger plans for the WOWW universe too. Watch this space!
